We are looking for an Engineer to join our Central London team. We’re open to both full-time and part-time arrangements – we understand the importance of flexibility and are open to discussing working arrangements that accommodate personal commitments, caregiving responsibilities, or other needs.
Momentum’s civil and highway engineering offer is growing fast, and we’re looking for a talented, forward thinking Engineer to join our team in our central London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the best professionals in the industry. From day one, you’ll be contributing to the design
and delivery of Momentum’s wide range of innovative projects. These will include highways engineering, public realm and street design, masterplans, servicing,
and construction logistics. As one of our engineers you will be given targeted and specialised training and professional development, and the responsibility and opportunities to work on iconic and interesting projects across London and around the world.

Requirements
You will be a self-starter with a passion for sustainable transport solutions in the future city, and transport and highways engineering and its challenges. You’ll be
forward-thinking and have ideas about the challenges of the urban built environment and how to put people at the centre of our work. You’ll enjoy solving complex engineering problems and working collaboratively. You will be able to demonstrate (or show a keen desire to develop) the following:
- You have a Civil Engineering degree, equivalent, or experience in similar technical engineering discipline
- Experience of usin engineering software such as AutoCAD and AutoTrack
- Highways-related detailed design experience
- Ability to work independently, and effectively with others
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical design analysis skills
- Experience of working across Microsoft Office ecosystem
It would be an advantage if you could also bring:
- Experience of using engineering software such as Civils 3D
- Experience working in collaborative software environments such as Aconex and ProjectWise
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status (ICE/CIHT/similar)
