Our client is a market leading company in a niche sector who have been established for over 60 years, in the supply, manufacture, design, install and service of engineering equipment. They are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team as a Trainee Sales Engineer to support their existing team with generating quotes for customers and building relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Sales Engineer, as full training will be available to allow you to progress into a sales Engineer role.Job Description:
The Trainee Sales Engineer will work alongside a team of experienced Sales Engineers to have training the role, where the duties will include:
- Support with preparing quotes, proposals and presentations for customers
- Develop strong relationships with customers – communication by phone and email to deal with incoming enquiries
- Be able to provide technical advice and recommend various products to customers
- Liaise with internal departments
- Learn about the company products, product developments and industry trends
- Must have an interest in engineering/technical sales
- Ideally have an Engineering qualification (BTEC)
- 4-9 GCSEs including English, Maths and Science
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers
- Must be computer literate including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn and train with the team
Salary: £24,000 Per Annum
