Discover how you can make a difference and advance your skills with us.As a React UI Engineer in Digital Markets and Execution Technology, you will design and deliver secure, scalable, and market-leading technology products for the Execute platform. You'll work hands-on within an agile team, building and supporting user interfaces that drive our business forward. You will contribute to the stability and correctness of our production environment, ensuring high standards in code quality and system architecture. Your insights and technical expertise will help us continuously improve and innovate. You'll be part of a team that values diversity, collaboration, and professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting for UI components
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain integration algorithms
- Contribute to production stability by making careful, backwards-compatible changes and reviewing team contributions
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new technologies
- Add to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applied experience
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, React, and CSS
- Experience configuring and customizing development tooling
- Practical experience in writing effective tests
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Experience building high-performance web or desktop applications
- Experience in functional and non-functional test automation
- Experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams
