Role OverviewAs a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment, machinery, and systems operate efficiently and reliably. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of productivity and safety throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults swiftly to minimise downtime and keep operations running seamlessly.
• Prompt Response: Act quickly to breakdowns and implement effective solutions to avoid disruptions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and external contractors to maintain operational efficiency and safety.
• Machining Operations: Operate Milling machines as required for various maintenance tasks.
• Welding Tasks: Carry out welding duties as part of your maintenance and repair work.
• General Maintenance: Undertake a variety of general maintenance duties across the facility to support a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is essential.
• Welding skills are crucial for this role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges head-on.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
