Commercial Lead, Specialty Care Europe
Locations:
GSK HQ, London UK (Hybrid Working 2-3 days a week at office)
We are open to applicants from other GSK strategic European locations - local expectations to time in office will apply.

Role Purpose
The Commercial Lead will be responsible for driving performance and excellence in execution across the Area markets for Specialty Care, overseeing both performance and upcoming launches. Working in close partnership with the cross functional team, this role ensures strategic alignment, operational excellence, and consistent execution across markets
Core Areas of Focus
Driving Performance
- Lead commercial performance for specialty care across Area markets, ensuring strong execution against strategic and financial targets.
- Work closely with the SVP to identify growth opportunities, address performance gaps, and accelerate delivery.
Launch Excellence
- Oversee launch readiness and flawless execution for upcoming launches, ensuring alignment on strategy, milestones, and in‑market activation plans.
- Coordinate with Global, Region, and LOC teams to ensure pre-launch activities are delivered (eg. EE engagement, sales capability programs, and materials)
Driving Key Regional Projects in External Engagement (EE)
- Lead and contribute to key regional external engagement initiatives, building regional EE platforms.
- Ensure high-quality faculty engagement, content alignment, and seamless collaboration with medical and cross-functional teams to elevate credibility and scientific leadership.
Sharing Best Practice and Learnings
- Facilitate continuous exchange of learnings across markets, promoting proven commercial excellence approaches, launch insights, and competitive execution tactics.
- Create mechanisms for systematic sharing of what works — including tools, processes, stakeholder insights, and innovative field approaches.
Cross‑Functional and Cross‑Market Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Global, Regional, and LOC partners — including Medical, Market Access, Finance, Sales Capability, and CGA — to ensure integrated planning and delivery.
- Maintain strong governance with markets and regional initiatives to drive performance and accountability

Basic Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for professionals with the required skills to achieve our goals:
- Degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven marketing experience from the pharmaceuticals Industry.
- Commercial operational experience in pharmaceutical industry at a Local Operating Country (LOC), regional and/or global level, whether within a pharmaceutical company or a pharmaceutical consulting firm.
- Experience utilizing research, market data, customer insights (patients, payers, providers) to shape strategies.
- Leadership experience in a matrix environment & working cross functionally.
Preferred Qualifications & Sills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Advanced degree (MBA or scientific postgraduate) or equivalent professional development.
- Experience in driving performance and in a very competitive market with a multi-indication brand.
- Product Launch experience ideally in specialty care products.
- Experience in EU countries.
- Ability to motivate, lead and influence across various levels and within various functions.
- Effective communication, interpersonal influence, and prioritization skills.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment and translate strategic direction into action plans, under tight timelines.
